What has changed is not my value, it is my horizon.
At thirty-eight, giving up a fortune cost time, and I had plenty. At fifty-eight, it would cost years, and years have become the scarce resource, precisely because I still have a second ikigai to carry out.
So I keep giving away the story and the method. But execution is invoiced, because it funds the fifty years I need.
The first ikigai proved that giving works. The second requires that it also pays.
