Experts in Residence
Each residency produces a protocol, a document, and a numbered card.
Specialists invited to the Living Lab, one residency at a time.
Apply for a residencyWho we invite
Researchers & Scientists
Researchers studying longevity biology, metabolism, biomarkers & emerging health technologies.
Practitioners & Specialists
Coaches, therapists & practitioners working on recovery, biohacking & human performance optimization.
Innovators & Builders
Entrepreneurs, engineers and innovators developing technologies for longevity & human performance.
What a residency produces
An expert comes to the Living Lab for a few days. Together we take a question from their discipline and run it through the IO8 loop: measure, act, measure again.
What comes out is documented, versioned and attributed: a protocol the expert can use in their own practice, and a document that IO8 uses in its programmes.
Over time, validated protocols become publishable work, with the expert named as author.

Nº 01 · Aurore Meynot
Ethnologist · Neurosensory practices · Founder of Or-Kah®
Twenty years in strategy consulting and organisational transformation (Accenture, KPMG), then senior HR leadership at Valeo and Orano. Certified NeuroMindfulness® coach practitioner and breathwork facilitator.
She designs the conditions in which a nervous system regulates itself: conscious breath, immersive sound, somatic work. IO8 provides the terrain, and the instruments to read what happens there.
First residency on 2 June 2026, one week to read the terrain. Return on 17 August, a second week to build on it. A multisensory regulation protocol, in development, and described as such.
With Aurore, it is her protocol. Without her, a lighter session inspired by it, never a copy of Or-Kah®.

Ways Experts Collaborate with IO8
Guest Expert Residencies
Experts may visit the IO8 Living Lab for short residencies in Lisbon.
These visits allow knowledge exchange, protocol development and content creation within the living lab environment.
Retreats & Immersive Programs
Experts may participate in immersive programs such as retreats or team-building experiences.
These programs combine scientific insights, practical experimentation and participant education.
Research & Innovation Projects
IO8 also supports research collaborations, technology evaluation and protocol development with scientists and innovators exploring human performance and longevity.

Nº 03 · Dr Cédric Guéguen
Physician in Residence · Functional Medicine
Residency in June 2026. His role at the Living Lab: the medical reading of what IO8 measures, and the line IO8 does not cross. IO8 measures; medical acts belong to physicians.
Protocol in development, and described as such.
The IO8 Living Lab
The IO8 Living Lab provides a real-world experimentation environment where experts can explore emerging technologies and human performance protocols.
Unlike traditional laboratories, the living lab allows practical experimentation in real-life conditions.
Experts can contribute to protocol development, technology evaluation and immersive experiences such as retreats and experimental programs.
Research & Academic Collaborations
IO8 welcomes collaborations with universities, research groups and independent scientists interested in longevity and human performance.
The living lab environment enables experimental protocols, technology testing and collaborative research initiatives.
These collaborations aim to bridge academic research with real-world experimentation.
