A separation, free time, and a puzzle that came together.
At forty-eight, I had become aware that my ikigai was fulfilled. At the start of my fifty-third year, I separated from my partner. The questioning that followed left me time, which I spent learning, in science, in medicine and in artificial intelligence.
Going back over my whole life, I understood that I had always combined three things: reasoning, emotion and intuition. And I understood that what I had been doing with my body for years had a name: biohacking.
I came to Lisbon to explore that.
Beauty had not changed. It is my capacity to protect it that had just changed scale.

Protéger ceux qui font la beauté, puis la beauté elle-même. Qu'est-ce qui a changé ?
Une séparation, du temps libre, et un puzzle qui s'est assemblé.
À quarante-huit ans, j'avais pris conscience que mon ikigai était accompli. Au début de ma cinquante-troisième année, je me suis séparé de ma compagne. La remise en question qui a suivi m'a laissé du temps, que j'ai passé à apprendre, en science, en médecine et en intelligence artificielle.
En reprenant toute ma vie, j'ai compris que je combinais depuis toujours trois choses : le raisonnement, l'émotion et l'intuition. Et j'ai compris que ce que je faisais avec mon corps depuis des années portait un nom : biohacking.
Je suis venu à Lisbonne pour explorer ça.
La beauté n'avait pas changé. C'est ma capacité à la protéger qui venait de changer d'échelle.
