20. What exactly is a protocol?

Oct 05, 2026

Question 20 of 108 · The method: measure, execute, measure again

For everyone

A sequence in three stages: measure, execute, measure again.

With a written goal, named markers, named instruments and a fixed order. If one of the three stages is missing, it is not a protocol, it is an activity.

The difference with advice: with advice, nobody knows whether it was followed or what it produced.

A protocol leaves a trace, and the person leaves with the document.
