Longevity Mission
What should be done, and what will it earn?
For resorts and hotel groups. Three days on site with specialist experts, a costed deployment plan.
Illustrative images. Out of discretion, we never show the venues we audit without their consent.
01 · Who it is for
You are in the right place if
- A resort of more than 100 rooms with a spa, or a group that wants an identical grid from one hotel to the next.
- You have a consulting budget, and you have already paid firms for repositioning without any of them measuring anything.
- Your spa team and your marketing must buy in, not just your management.
- You want a plan your finance director can read: cost, gain, payback, month by month.
02 · What you receive
What you receive
- Three days on site with specialist experts: sleep, nutrition, movement, nervous system.
- Six rooms measured across your room types, over two nights; spa, pools, restaurants, gym, golf; interviews with management, the spa, the chef, the head housekeeper, the front desk, revenue management.
- The ten sub-objectives scored, each at two levels.
- A debrief workshop with the spa team and the marketing department.
- A financial module based on your occupancy data and seasonality, low scenario and central scenario.
- A deployment plan in three waves: longevity rooms, devices made available, a service menu integrated into your spa, who does what.
- A procedure sheet per device: hygiene, loan, replacement, working time.
- An environmental remeasurement at six months, same rooms, same sensors, publishable comparison.
- The right to display the Audited by IO8 label, dated.

Audit or Mission: what changes
04 · What it earns
The order of magnitude, for a 180-room resort
Eighteen longevity rooms at +€70 a night, a device loaned on 5% of room nights, two longevity menu sessions a day: about €310,000 net a year in the low scenario, €510,000 in the central scenario. Investment: about €123,000, paid back in five months. The off-peak months already cover almost half of the investment.
These are the figures from the sample report, for a fictitious hotel. Yours come from your data; that is the purpose of the financial module.
Margin
Room and menu supplements, carried by your regular guests.
Capture
The longevity segment, small in number but mobile and high-spending, chooses the hotel that has what the others do not.
Direct bookings
The longevity room and the devices are products booked with you, not on the platforms.
05 · Your committee's questions
Before your committee asks them
Will your spa lose out?
No: the longevity menu fills empty treatment rooms with your trained therapists; it does not replace massages. The workshop is held with your spa director, and the report costs what the menu takes and what it creates.
Who cleans, who replaces, who is responsible?
One sheet per device, written with your head housekeeper, with cleaning time, check frequency, replacement price and the card pre-authorisation procedure, as for your bicycles.
And distribution?
The longevity room exists as a category in your channel manager. The plan favours direct bookings, where the supplement carries no commission.
Are you neutral?
We test the devices at the Living Lab and represent certain brands. Interests are declared, the comparison is multi-brand, function by function, and you buy wherever you want.
The data?
Your occupancy data is anonymised and destroyed when the report is delivered. No health data is collected on your guests, by you or by us.
For a group?
An identical grid from one hotel to the next, a pilot on one or two hotels at the standard rate, then group pricing published in advance, and a summary that ranks your hotels by potential.
Why €20,000?
Three days of experts, a workshop, a financial module on your data, a deployment plan, device sheets and a remeasurement: the scope of a consulting firm's engagement, with what no firm does: measure.
